I am the sole proprietor of the Law Offices of Charles Goodbar and focus my practice in the area of real estate transfer and taxicab regulations, including financing, sales, and probate administration, in Chicago.  My office also associates with local counsel in New Orleans, Louisiana regarding the taxicab industry, including the sale, acquisition, and financing of Certificates of Public Necessity and Convenience (CPNCs).

I have nearly 15 years of experience in the area of taxicab licensing and have a deep understanding of the specific legal and practical issues that arise with respect to this unique property right.  With strong ties to the Chicago and New Orleans communities, I am well connected in the taxicab industry.  I have worked with many of Chicago's premier taxicab medallion financial lenders, as well as taxicab medallion purchasers, investors and owners.
